The weather is lovely so I truly hope you have the chance to get out enjoy some of these activities in the Tulsa area this week!
This is the last week for the Tulsa State Fair. Concerts this week include Jamey Johnson this Tuesday, Rick Springfield on Thursday, country star Clay Walker on Friday and the Eli Young Band on Saturday. Other activities include competitive exhibits and agricultural events, rides and games, and a lot of great kids activities. Search ‘Tulsa State Fair’ on wimgo for even more events. 
Musical events happening around Tulsa this week include Robert Randolph and the Family Band, Martin Sexton and The Black Keys all at Cain’s Ballroom and native Oklahoman and American Idol winner, Carrie Underwood at the BOK Center on Sunday. Also, there’s a very interesting performance this Friday at the Tulsa Performing Arts Center with Trace Bundy, who’s an “acoustic ninja”. Check it out for only $24.
Other Tulsa Performing Arts Center events include the Tulsa Opera: La Traviata on Saturday, Bug starting this Thursday and Gita Govinda at the John H. Williams Theatre on Saturday.
As you know Halloween is the end of this month. To get you in the spirit, don’t miss Oklahoma’s 8th Annual Goth Prom this Saturday night at The Marquee and all of the haunted houses, pumpkin patches and other festivals in the area.

Lots of great activities to check out this week in the Tulsa area. What’s on your calendar?
The Rockstar Energy Drink UPROAR Festival is set to rock Tulsa this Wednesday night. Tickets start at $33 and can be purchased online. Also this Wednesday night, The Black Crowes will be at Cain’s Ballroom and tickets for this show are only $45.
This Wednesday through Friday, the lovable classic, The Jungle Book, is at the Tulsa Performing Art Center and tickets are available starting at $15. Also at the performing arts center, don’t miss Macbeth this Friday and Saturday for just $35 and Tulsa Symphony – The Resilience of the Human Spirit this Saturday at the Chapman Music Hall for $10.
Go see entertainer and storyteller, Bill Harley, this Thursday at the Hardesty Regional Library Connor’s Cove and the King’s Champion Medieval Faire this Saturday and Sunday. Also, grab the family and head out to the Philbrook Museum this Saturday where the entire family can get in free all day long.
Check out great events at Expo Square this week, including the American Miniature Horse National Show, the Tulsa House Beautiful Show at QuikTrip Center and the Signature Sunday Custom Car Show.
Are you ready for some football? The Tulsa Golden Hurricanes have their first home game of the season this Saturday versus Bowling Green. Kickoff is set at 6 p.m. Also, Oklahoma State is home again this Saturday to host Troy and the OU Sooners have a tough battle against Florida State this Saturday in Norman. If you do get down to Norman, make sure to swing by Campus Corner and check the Oklahoma Lottery trailer for your chance to win $5,000!

Hey Tulsa! There are a lot of great events to check out this week.
First of all, if you have kids or you’re about to, check out the Just Between Friends Sale all week long at the Exchange Center at Expo Square. This event has thousands of high quality name brand items for you and your little one.

Singer-songwriter and nine time Grammy award winner, Sheryl Crow, will be at the Brady Theater this Tuesday night. Tickets are $47.50 and can be purchased online or at the door. Also, if you would do anything for love, don’t miss Meat Loaf this Tuesday at the River Spirit Casino.
Other musical events include Oklahoma band and mmm-boppers, Hanson, at Cain’s Ballroom on Wednesday, An evening with Ween and Civil Twilight, both at Cain’s Ballroom and Rhythm on the River at the 41st Street Plaza on Friday.
If you’re downtown this weekend, be prepared for thousands of women heading to the Women of Faith Conference this Friday and Saturday at the BOK Center. Other events for your calendar include the Green Country RV & Recreation Show at Expo Square, Cinderella at the Tulsa Spotlight Theater and Drillers baseball at ONEOK Field this Saturday and Sunday.

There are a lot of great events in the Tulsa area this week you definitely won’t want to miss. What are you going to do? Leave a comment below!
Cheer on the Tulsa Drillers this Wednesday through Sunday at ONEOK Field. The team always has fun promotions, too, including Thirsty Thursday, Fireworks each Friday night, and this Saturday is Rockies Mania Night with the Rockies Mascot.
There are several great events at the Tulsa Performing Arts Center this week including Black and White this Friday night and Song of the Swimming Sun this Saturday. Tickets for both events can be purchased online.
Sean Hannity’s Freedom Concert featuring Lynard Skynard, the Charlie Daniels Band and Michael W. Smith will be at the BOK Center this Friday night. And on Saturday, the Tulsa Shock host Chicago at the BOK Center for their last home game of the regular season.
The Deftones will be at the Brady Theater this Thursday night with tickets starting at $27.50 and Hoobastank is also in concert this Thursday night at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino.
Don’t miss the Grand American Arms Show this Saturday and Sunday at Expo Square or if you have children the Just Between Friends Sale, starting this Sunday, is an event you must check out to find gently used items in abundance!
The third annual Tatur Mud Run is this Saturday. This event is a run through muddy obstacles such as a Super Slip & Slide, Terrible Tire Traffic, Herculean Hay Hurdles, and much more. Also, check out Cinderella at the Tulsa Spotlight Theater this Friday through Sunday and Oklahoma! at Discovery Land.

It’s hard to believe that July is nearly over. But don’t fret – plenty of summertime events happening this week in the Tulsa area!
The Tulsa Drillers are home now through Thursday when they host the Arkansas Naturals. Don’t miss any of the fun, including $2 Tuesday, Remember Whensday and Thirsty Thursday.
If you’re looking to improve the interior or exterior of your home, don’t miss the Home and Garden Expo of Oklahoma this Friday through Sunday at Expo Square’s QuikTrip Center. Also at Expo Square this weekend is the R.K. Gun and Knife Show.
Don’t miss up-and-coming country singer Easton Corbin at Cain’s Ballroom on Thursday. Tickets are just $16. And this Friday and Saturday is the first ever Free Tulsa Music Festival. The festival will be held at Cain’s Ballroom, Crystal Pistol and Sound Pony.
Other sporting events to check out include Tulsa Shock basketball on Friday at the BOK Center and the Tulsa Talons travel down the turnpike to Oklahoma City to face the Yard Dawgz on Friday night.
Other events you need to add to your calendar include Summer Films on the Lawn at the Philbrook Museum, Rhythm on the River and the Green Country Cowboys of Color Rodeo.

If you know me you know I love summer. And if you don’t know me, well, I just told you that I love summer. One main reason I do is because there is no lack of activities any given week…and this week is no exception. Check it out!
There are a lot of events at the Tulsa Performing Arts Center this week including Kiss Me, Kate this Wednesday through Sunday and The Visit all weekend long. Also, don’t miss 1964 which is known as the best Beatles tribute in the world this Friday night. Tickets for all shows can be purchased online or at the box office.

Get your laughs this Thursday night when comedian and ventriloquist Jeff Dunham comes to the BOK Center. Tickets are still available for just $43.50. Also, the Tulsa Shock will be at the BOK Center this Friday and Sunday and tickets start at $10.
Don’t miss Eisley this Friday or the Bleu Edmondson Band this Sunday, both at Cain’s Ballroom and check out the XFL “Super Fights” on Friday night at the Spiritbank Event Center for just $30.
Also, don’t miss A Man’s Life and Loves at the Tulsa Ballet Theatre and events at Expo Square include the Tulsa Area Pony Show and The Alliday Show on Saturday.

Spring is officially here and there are a lot of events for you to enjoy this week!
If you’re like me, you have a favorite Sesame Street character and he (or she) was a big part of your childhood. Well, this is the perfect chance for you and the kids to see these characters in person this week when Sesame Street Live comes to the BOK Center this Thursday through Sunday. Tickets start at just $15 and are available online or at the box office.
Perhaps you want a bit of theater and culture this week. Look no further than the Tulsa Performing Arts Center which has great shows all week including The Elders, Oh-Daddy O, the Tulsa Symphony’s Music of France and Cat on a Hot Tin Roof. Tickets for all of these shows are available online.
Expo Square is the place to be this weekend for events like the 2010 AKC Nationals, the Sears Powerama and the Green Country RV and Outdoor Show. And go cheer on the Tulsa 66ers this Thursday, Friday and Sunday at the Tulsa Convention Center.
Other events to check out include Acquire the Fire at the Mabee Center this Friday and Saturday, live music at Cain’s Ballroom on Friday night and Randy Houser on Saturday night and go see The Zuit Suits on Friday night at the Oklahoma Jazz Hall of Fame.

March is known for a lot of things, but perhaps the best and most exciting is St. Patrick’s Day! Lucky for you, there are a lot of events around Tulsa to help you celebrate including a party at Arnie’s Bar, the St. Patrick’s Day Concert with Kilkenny Road at Price Tower Arts Center and the St. Paddy’s Party at Enso. Also, don’t forget to wear green!
The Black Eyed Peas, along with LMFAO and Ludacris will be at the BOK Center this Saturday. Follow wimgo on Twitter and look for details on how you could win two tickets to the show.
Check out the Tulsa International Auto Show this Thursday through Sunday at Expo Square. The show presents all of your favorite makes and models of new cars and trucks and admission is just $8. Also, stop by the gun and knife show at Expo Square as well.
