I’m back after 8 weeks of maternity leave and picking up right where I left off…with the best events happening around Tulsa!
The Scarlet Letter is this Monday through Saturday at the Tulsa Performing Arts Center. This stripped-bare stage version of one of the best American novels ever written makes for a raw and exhilarating theatrical experience and tickets are just $15. Also at the Performing Arts Center this weekend don’t miss the All-State Honor Band, Chorus & Instrumental Concerts. Tickets for these shows are only $9.
Is John Cena a part of the WWE Smackdown gang? If so…you know you wanna go see him and all of your favorite Smackdown superstars (including Edge, Kane, Jack Swagger and The Divas) this Tuesday night at the BOK Center. Tickets are available for $15. Sounds exciting! Also at the BOK Center this weekend the Tulsa Oilers hockey team hosts Laredo and don’t miss the world-famous Harlem Globetrotters this Saturday night for $18.
As always, lots of concerts to look forward to this week at Cain’s Ballroom including Railroad Earth on Wednesday, Candy Coburn on Thursday, That 1 Guy & the Magic Pipe on Friday and Cody Canada & The Departed on Saturday night.
Other events to put on your calendar include comedian and Emmy award winner Kathy Griffin at the Brady Theater, the Tulsa World Invitational Gymnastics Meet at the Spiritbank Event Center all weekend long and three-time Grammy award winner Johnny Mathis at the Mabee Center.
