Wednesday Video Spotlight: “Beard Like Harden”

A group of clever folks from Woodward wanted to pay tribute to the Oklahoma City Thunder’s Sixth Man of the Year and facial-hair blessed James “Fear The Beard” Harden. So, they performed and created the video for “Beard Like Harden,” a spoof of Maroon 5 and Christina Aguilera’s hit “Moves Like Jagger.”

The Thunder take on the L.A. Lakers in Game 2 of the Western Conference semifinals at 8:30 tonight at Chesapeake Energy Arena. The game will be broadcast on TNT.

Krystal Keith to sing National Anthem at tonight’s Thunder vs. Lakers game

Krystal Keith grew up singing at local games, events, and competitions and later onstage with her famous father. Now in the midst of readying her debut country album, the daughter of Oklahoma music superstar Toby Keith has been invited to sing the National Anthem before tonight’s Oklahoma City Thunder playoff game.

The Norman-bred singer will belt the National Anthem prior to tonight’s first game in the Western Conference semifinals of the NBA playoffs, which pits her hometown team against the Los Angeles Lakers. …

Video: Local rap group The Lost Boys record Oklahoma City Thunder tribute song “Blue and Orange”

The Oklahoman sportswriter Jenni Carlson spoke with local rap group The Lost Boys about “Blue and Orange,” their musical tribute to the Oklahoma City Thunder.

This NewsOK video was filmed last week before we knew for sure who the Thunder would be playing in the second round of their playoff run, but The Lost Boys predicted the hometown squad would take on the Los Angeles Lakers and, of course, win.
