Tenacious D “Rize of the Fenix” (Columbia Records)
The prominent orange-and-black sticker on the wrapper of Tenacious D’s new CD bears the message “Warning! Not for children (or religious people). Censored.”
In other words, six years may have passed since lead singer/guitarist Jack Black and lead guitarist/singer Kyle Gass released their previous album, but the acoustic metal/comedy duo definitely hasn’t outgrown their love for four-letter words, raunchy sexual humor and arena-filling rock anthems.
