Rascal Flatts guitarist Joe Don Rooney, who grew up in Picher, took to Twitter today to praise country singer-songwriter Taylor Swift for covering his band’s hit “What Hurts the Most” last month during her tour stop at Oklahoma City’s Chesapeake Energy Arena.

He wrote today @JoeDonRooney: “@taylorswift13 @rascalflatts What’s up girl… Hope ur well. I’m sure ur rockin! Great job on #whathurtsthemost in OKC!” He also included the YouTube link to the performance, embedded above.
