Tulsa Events Nov 29 – Dec 5

I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving.  If you’re looking for things to do this holiday season, you won’t be disappointed.  Tulsa has many events we think you’ll love.

Some fun, family events include the drive thru Christmas Kingdom in Muskogee through December 31st from 6 to 10 PM.  The drive thru Kingdom is said to have the world’s largest collection of holiday inflatables.  Come see over 2000 displays that range from 4ft to 20ft tall.

For a good laugh, go see Brian Regan at the Mabee Center on Friday, December 4th at 8PM.  Critics and peers agree: Brian Regan has distinguished himself as one of the premier comedians in the country. The perfect balance of sophisticated writing and physicality, Brian fills theaters nationwide with fans that span generations.

If you’re looking for music, Cain’s Ballroom will feature Infamous on Friday, December 3rd.  The show starts at 8.  If rap is not your thing, then check out Willie Nelson & Friends at the Spiritbank Event Center on December 3rd at 7:30.

Other events include Tulsa Oilers at the BOK Center Friday, December 3rd vs Mississippi and again on Saturday vs Missouri; and The Grand National Gun Show is Saturday, December 4th through Sunday, December 5th at the Expo Square

OKC Events Nov 29 – Dec 5 2010

I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving.  If you’re looking for things to do this holiday season, you won’t be disappointed.  OKC has many events we think you’ll love.

Some fun, family events include Wimgo Holidays on the Canal through December 26th.  All ages will enjoy a fun-filled float down the beautifully adorned Bricktown canal.  Admission is free.

Your kids will love the Devon Energy Holiday River Parade.  The Oklahoma River will light up on Saturday, December 4th.  Enjoy free music, entertainment, a spectacular fireworks show and more than 20 boats to parade the river, decorated in holiday lights.

The Trans Siberian Orchestra will be in town on Wednesday December 1st at the OKC Arena.  They are one of the top selling concert acts in the world with their high-powered music, lights and fireworks.  This is a show you don’t want to miss.

If you’re looking for music, Foreigner will be at the Riverwind Casino on December 2nd and Cyndi Lauper will be in town for two nights.  You can see her December 4th at First Council Casino and again on December 5th at Lucky Star Casino.

Other events include the OKC Thunder vs New Orleans Monday, November 29th; Dean Martin’s “White Christmas” at the Yellow Rose Theater through December 19th; and the OKC Philharmonic will perform “A Very Merry Pops” at the OKC Civic Center Music Hall December 2nd through the 4th.
