Events in Tulsa this Week – Sept. 27 – Oct. 3

The weather looks great this week – but of course, this is Oklahoma so that could quickly change. Anyway, lots of events to check out this week in the Tulsa area. What will you do?

Go see Citizen Cope at Cain’s Ballroom on Thursday for just $28 and Delbert McClinton at Cain’s this Friday night. For a complete list (60 events to be exact!) of live music events happening around Tulsa this week, click here.

The Tulsa State Fair starts this Thursday and runs through Sunday, October 10 at Expo Square. The Fair has a ton of great concerts, including  Gloriana, Katharine McPhee , Third Day, Jamey Johnson and Rick Springfield, which are all free with gate admission. Also, don’t miss events like livestock shows and other competitive exhibits, Disney on Ice and the PRCA rodeo. Search ‘Tulsa State Fair’ on wimgo for a complete list of events.

Check out the Great American Waterfowl Expo this Friday through Sunday at the Spiritbank Event Center. This event lets you visit with premier industry vendors and get your hands on all of the latest waterfowl gear just in time for season.

Other events to add to your calendar include “And the Winner Is” at the Henthorne Performing Arts Center this Friday and Saturday and “An Enemy of the People” all weekend long at the Mabee Center. Several events happening at the Tulsa Performing Arts Center include Concertante on Sunday afternoon, “Bug” the darkly disturbing story of conspiracy, paranoia, love, madness and, yes bugs all weekend long and the family-friendly Click, Clack, Moo Friday and Saturday.

Mentioned it in another post, but have to mention it here, too. It’s OU/Texas weekend! Anyone making the trek to Dallas to watch the game?

Have an awesome week, friends!
