John Mayer, Oklahoma Horror Fest this Week in Tulsa
As I said in my other post…I’m super excited this week because college football kicks off! I’m a huge fan and I’ll be wearing my crimson and cream on Saturday. But for those of you that aren’t as dedicated as I am, here’s a list of other events you might want to check out.
If you haven’t been to a Drillers game this season, you still have a few chances to cheer them on. The team is home at ONEOK Field now through Friday and tickets start at just $5. Also, check out The August Wilson Project at the Tulsa Performing Arts Center this Thursday, country singer Tanya Tucker at River Spirit Casino and STS9 and Ghostland Observatory at the River Parks Amphitheater this Friday night.
Don’t miss John Mayer at the BOK Center this Friday night with Owl City. Tickets for the concert are still available and start at $37. Also, The Kottonmouth Kings and Samantha Crain are both at Cain’s Ballroom this week. Tickets for these shows are $26 and $13 and are available online.
Horror is heading to Tulsa this Labor Day weekend with the Oklahoma Horror Film Festival & Convention. Don’t miss the spook-fest this Friday through Sunday at Spirit Bank Event Center.
And, for the pièce de résistance: College Football! Cheer on the Sooners when they host Utah State in Norman or the Cowboys in Stillwater as they take on the Washington State Cougars.
Have fun and enjoy the remainder of summer!
