There are a lot of great events to check out this week around Oklahoma City, including an abundance of live music.
First of all, if you have kids or are about to, check out the Just Between Friends Sale all week long at State Fair Park. This event has thousands of high quality name brand items for you and your little one(s). Admission is $2 on Monday and is free the rest of the week.
Also, this Friday and Saturday, don’t miss the Oklahoma County Free Fair at State Fair Arena. Other events at State Fair Park include The Gypsyville Market & Crafts Show on Saturday and the Grand American Arms Show Saturday and Sunday.
If you’re strolling around Bricktown this Thursday night, check out the free concert at United Way Plaza. Other musical events to check out include the Randy Rogers Band at the Wormy Dog Saloon on Thursday, Bret Michaels at Firelake Grand Casino, the Turnpike Troubadours at the Wormy Dog Saloon and Arms of the Sun at the Diamond Ballroom on Saturday.
Don’t miss the BB King Blues Fest at the Zoo Amphitheater this Friday featuring the talents of BB King, Al Green and Buddy Guy. Tickets are $37.50 and can be purchased online or at the gate. Also, Allied Arts has teamed up with Red Bull to bring the national “Art of Can” exhibit to Oklahoma for the first time. Check it out this Friday with an all you can eat, all you can drink Red Bull event displaying work inspired by or created with the iconic Red Bull can.
