Hello Oklahoma City! Lots of boot scootin’ events to check out this week and weekend around the four-oh-five.
First off, Charlie Robinson and Reckless Kelly will both be at the Wormy Dog Saloon this Friday and Saturday night. Also, check out country legend Charley Pride at Riverwind Casino this Saturday night and one of the greatest country duos of all time, *Brooks and Dunn, will be at the Ford Center this Friday night for their Last Rodeo Tour. Also, don’t miss up-and-coming country band Gloriana this Saturday at Frontier City.
Okay, if the country scene isn’t for you then check out the Zoo Amphitheater for the Carnival of Madness on Friday night. This show will have numerous bands including Shinedown, Chevelle and Puddle of Mudd and tickets start at just $37.50. Also at the Zoo Amp this Saturday night is Heart along with Cinderella and tickets for this show are $37.50 as well.
Bricktown is also hoppin’ this weekend! Cheer on the RedHawks now through Friday at the Bricktown Ballpark and don’t miss the Bricktown Unplugged Music Festival this weekend at JJs Alley. This three day event has non-stop live music with the likes of Scott Keeton, Ali Harter, Aaron Newman and many more. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Alzheimer’s Association. Also downtown this weekend is the Sunday Twilight Concert Series hosted by the Oklahoma City Arts Council.
Other events you won’t want to miss include the Second Annual Improv Festival, the Red River Hunting and Fishing Expo, Reasons to be Pretty at the Ghostlight Theatre, and the Gun, Knife and Outdoor Equipment Show at State Fair Park.
