NCAA Women’s College World Series, Live Music this Week in OKC

Hope you all had an awesome Memorial Day weekend. Mine was great but, of course, much too fast. Anyway, I hope you’ve recovered because there are a lot of events this week you won’t want to miss…

The 25th Annual Charlie Christian Music Fest started yesterday and lasts until Sunday. The event is held at several venues throughout downtown Oklahoma City and even some in Edmond.

Don’t miss country singer James Otto this Thursday at the Diamond Ballroom. Tickets for the show are just $15. Also, check out Kevin Pickett and Southern Rain this Friday or Sam Sliva and the Good this Saturday, both at the Wormy Dog Saloon.

The 2010 NCAA Women’s College World Series starts this Thursday at the ASA Hall of Fame Stadium. Tickets are on sale now at www.Ticketmaster.com. Also, the Red Dirt Rebellion Rollergirls are home this Saturday night at the Cox Convention Center where they host the Randall County Roller Dames. Tickets to see these tough ladies are just $10.

Also this Saturday is the JDRF Walk to Cure Diabetes at the Oklahoma State University Oklahoma City Campus, the 2010 Downtown Dash, and the Sunday Twilight Concert Series in downtown Oklahoma City starts this weekend.

Have a great week-
