Hawk Nelson, Widespread Panic this Week in Tulsa

One thing I love about spring is there’s never a lack of events and fun things to do. Check out these things happening around the Tulsa area this week:

This Tuesday night, go see NEEDTOBREATHE with Stephen Kellogg & Seabird at Cain’s Ballroom for $18 or Jeff Beck at the Brady Theatre for $37.50.  Also, don’t miss Blue October this Thursday night at Cain’s Ballroom, Hawk Nelson and Group 1 Crew at the The Otherside Event Center and Coheed and Cambria this Friday at Cain’s Ballroom.

Little Women, one of the most beloved American novels of all time, will be performed this Friday through Sunday at the Tulsa Spotlight Theatre. Also, go see Widespread Panic this Saturday at the BOK Center or Lisa Lampanelli at the Tulsa Convention Center also on Saturday.

OKC Thunder, Arts Festivals this Week in OKC

April has come and almost gone and summer is quickly approaching. Take time to enjoy the mostly beautiful weather and get out of the house for these events!

I don’t know who had the power to name baseball “America’s Pastime” but, I have to admit, I kinda agree. I love going to baseball games! If you do too then make plans to cheer on the Oklahoma City RedHawks some time this week – they’re home Monday and Tuesday and Thursday through Sunday. Tickets for the games start at just $7 and are available online or at the ballpark.

The beautiful sounds of the Trans Siberian Orchestra will fill up the Civic Center Music Hall this Tuesday and The 39 Steps, an award-winning Broadway comedy, will play in the Freede Little Theatre at the Civic Center this Friday through Sunday. Also, go see “Night at the Movies” with the UCO Symphonic Band this Thursday night at the Mitchell Hall Theatre on the UCO Campus.

As you probably know, the Oklahoma City Thunder are in the middle of playoffs with the LA Lakers. Cheer on the home team this Friday night at the Ford center for game six of the series. If you find tickets, get me one!

Also, don’t miss PlayDate OKC this Friday Night at the Cox Convention Center, the Edmond Arts Festival in downtown Edmond, the Big 12 Rowing Championships this Saturday on the Oklahoma River, the May Fair Arts Festival at Norman’s Andrews Park Friday through Sunday and the Rock N Roll Garage Show and Sale this Saturday at Route 66 Bowl.

Have fun!
