Cannen Ace
Well, it’s official. Our Wendy with Wimgo is a new mom.
Tuesday night, she and her husband Kyle welcomed little Cannen Ace (pronounced cannon) into the world. Although just a newborn, I’m told he’s currently setting up his social media accounts and already has some ideas he’d like to discuss regarding our upcoming promotions. Honestly, I made that part up. Newborns, I’m told, cannot speak. (Yes, I asked about the E-Trade baby and was told that was all done with computers.)
So, if you’re like me, you’re probably freaking out right now. Where’s Wendy? What are we going to do without Wendy? Where’s my latte? Etc. After some deliberation we decided it was only fair for her to get some time off. She absolutely deserves it, and I think it’s a law. So, Wendy will be hanging out with the fam for a while. Because no one of us can do the work of one Wendy, several members of the Wimgo team will be taking on her duties while she’s out.
For the most part, Summer will be handling our Twitter and Facebook updates so be sure to follow @Wimgo and the Wimgo twitter account for your city, and fan Wimgo on Facebook. There you can get to know Summer and stay up to date on all the amazing things happening here at Wimgo and in your community. Mick, Mike and myself will also continue to help out. So, you’ll likely hear the four of us on the radio, watch us in videos, and we’ll probably pop up in other places where you might normally expect to see Wendy. Regardless, you can rest assured that we are still here for you, day and night, if you ever need help, information or just a friend to listen.
