Bricktown Haunted House Ticket Giveaway

Last week wimgo gave away 20 Bricktown Haunted House tickets. A lot of people entered which means a lot of people didn’t win. If that included you, don’t fret. I have four pair of tickets to give away which means you have one more chance to win!

For your chance to win, comment on this blog post and tell me what you’re going to be for Halloween OR what your favorite Halloween costume was when you were kid.

It’s that simple! I’ll announce the winners tomorrow, Thursday, October 29.

Happy Halloween!

My favorite costume of all time is the Cereal Killer. My version was a two-man costume. One person was dressed as a giant box of cereal, and the other was dressed like a normal person. When trick-or-treating, the cereal box was always the first one to be commented on, leaving the question to be asked to the normally dressed person “who are you supposed to be?” at which it is replied, “I’m a cereal killer” and a cap gun is pulled from your jacket and fired at the guy dressed in a cereal box. Always good for a laugh.

So many favorite costumes! I guess Bert and Ernie is probably the best costume I’ve ever done. I was Ernie because I have a fat, round head just like Ernie. The Sesame Street Martians (yip yip’s)… Mario and Luigi ..Barman and Robin.. and as a kid I always loved the scarecrow costume, there’s just something about stuffing all of your clothes full of wet, itchy hay! I’m really excited about the Bricktown Haunted House – hope I get to take my 10 year old lil’ sister so she can get the crap scared outta her!!! Mwahahahaha!!! This is, by far, the BEST Haunted House in OKC!!!

My favorite costume as a kid was when we dressed as punk rockers. My brother & I got to color our hair and spike it. I wore a ton of make up and got to cut holes in some old clothes. As an adult, when our first born was three, he was the cowardly lion, myself the wicked witch, and my husband wore gray sweats, and a cardboard box covered in DUCT tape with a new oil pan thingy on his head. He was the tin man! That was my favorite Halloween as an adult!

My favorite costume was the one I made for my little brother. With little money, we took an old sheet and spent the entire day tearing it into strips and carefully wrapping his entire body in it so he could be the mummy!
